The McBride family have been pastoralists in South Australia since the 1890's. Faraway Hill, in the dry north east of South Australia, was their first property.

As well as supplying fruit to other wineries, the family's aim is to produce interesting wines displaying strong regional and varietal characteristics at exceptional value. The Faraway wines make excellent everyday drinking and have plenty of character to match.
