All the grapes used in the production of Pancake Estate wines are sourced solely from the Pancake Estate vineyard. Our grapes are not blended to maintain a consistent flavour. Therefore with every vintage, the wine is likely to be different, reflecting climatic factors – which all adds to the pleasure of purchasing Pancake Estate wines on a consistent basis!!!
Our wine is made by Colin Glaetzer and his son Ben at Barossa Vintners, Tanunda.
Colin Glaetzer was made a Baron of the Barossa in 2003 – an honour bestowed on gifted winemakers by their peers.
In September 2004 Ben won the Young Winemaker of the Year Award – presented by Gourmet Traveller Magazine and Qantas. |
