Tim Adams Wines was established in South Australia's beautiful Clare Valley in 1987 by Tim and his wife Pam Goldsack. They have come a long way since 1985, when just 10 tonnes of grapes were vinified.
In compiling Taste Food & Wine 2008, Matthew Jukes and Tyson Stelzer made their selection of the best 365 wines from Australia and New Zealand. Six of those selections were from the Tim Adams stable — 2006 Semillon, 2007 Pinot Gris, 2007 Riesling, 2005 Shiraz, 2005 The Aberfeldy Shiraz and 2005 The Fergus. Adelaide Cellar Door sells all of these wines in Hong Kong.
Tim focusses his attention on making wines exclusively from Clare Valley grapes selected for their authentic varietal and regional characters.
These wines can be enjoyed in their youth for their vibrant fruit and fresh flavours, or be cellared for five to 15 years, depending on the wine.
